How to Turn a Hole into a Swimming Pool

The story goes like this… My dog died. I deal with grief by working outside - staying busy. I started digging a hole with the intention of building a concrete koi pond. I’ve built a few ponds at other homes - No worries, right? In the next few months, my son was born and the project came to a hard stop.

The hole grew over with grass… Until one of my buddies suggested to “dig a GIANT hole…and make a pool!!” - heh… beer. I didn’t grow up with a pool, but remembered how much I loved them as a kid. Figured it be the best present ever for the new kiddo….and then the hole got bigger.
