Our Visit to Benini Sculpture Gardens

 On the ride out to Enchanted Rock for a day of exploration, we decided to take a detour at the giant, stainless steel longhorn sculpture. A five mile ride out into beautiful West Texas hill country, past a hundred-horse community ride, we round ourselves at the gates of the Benini Sculpture Garden. We were not disappointed. Benini was in the office and we were able to talk to the artist, himself. It gives the common welder/dabbler something to aspire to.       These are the shots we snapped of the installation pieces below the house on the hill. There is plenty to see at the ranch and we ran out of time to see the rest of sculptures at the house. Next time!
